Riley’s History

In 1934, Mr. Jack Riley opened the doors of Riley Heating & Cooling Company. He believed that honesty along with prompt, courteous and professional service while installing the highest quality products are the most important aspects of a residential / light commercial heating and air conditioning company.

In 1967 Ellis R. Kahn purchased the business from Mr. Riley and continued to build the business on the tradition of honesty and professional service Riley Heating & Cooling customers had come to expect. Because of Ellis Kahn’s intense drive, the company grew, but the quality of service was never jeopardized.

In 1988 Ellis Kahn’s son Fred Kahn joined the business. In 1996 Ellis retired from the daily operations of Riley Heating & Cooling and Fred became the general manager while purchasing the business from his father.

“We believe the company that installs and services the product is the most important consideration in your purchase. The customer, their family and home should be treated with the greatest care and respect. Your comfort, safety and quality of air in your home is a responsibility we take seriously. It is a trust that we have to earn everyday. We do our best to employ only people who truly care and treat our customers beyond their expectations. They must perform their duties in a polite, neat and professional manner. “Trusted Service Since 1934” is not only our motto but our tradition and commitment to you everyday.”
